If you previously had active operating authority and need to reinstate the authority due to revocation, and it's been inactive over 1 year we can assist you in obtaining active status. You will have to reapply at full authority application fees, but will request to keep the same MC and DOT numbers. You can normally expect the reinstatement to take 2 to 5 days. If you are a freight broker you will also need to set up your surety bond and if you are a carrier you will need to set up your liability insurance (carriers that are moving companies will also need to set up cargo insurance).
